I am currently persuing my Masters in Computer Science at Georgia State University.I am an inquisitive person who loves to analyze problems deeply and tackle them by deducing them into sub-problems.I am highly invested in being the best team player in my work environment — whether its from using my bilingual skills to using my knowledge in bringing out my best for the projects.

Projects

Readability Formulas and Text Coherence

Developed Machine Learning Models to detect the level of text difficulty using NLP techniques. Use different word-embeddings and different machine learning algorithms to produce a readability assessment model. Evaluate whether the model is improved by including linguistic features of cohesion.

Detecting Depression using Deep Learning and Neural Networks

The goal of the project is to classify the extent of depression in an individual through (audio,video and transcript) interviews with an animated virtual interviewer Ellie using Natural Language Processing and various deep learning methods.

Recommendation System

To build a movie recommendation system with collaborative filtering and deep learning techniques which outputs related content as recommendations out of relevant and irrelevant collection of items to users. With an increase in content, people face a hard time the items they actually want to watch.

Software engineering project to create an app that helps users to order food from the restaurant's of their choice. It is developed using Android studio, sqllite , agile methodologies and tested using methods like unit testing, integration testing etc.
Developed a Ticket Booking and Travel Enquiry app which could take in users voice as input and give appropriate information regarding travel queries. It was developed using Android studio for making user interface and SQLite for the database management.
Application was developed in java which helps in booking tickets for movies and shows. It helps in automatic ticket generation and payment receipt generation.
A program in C was developed which can schedule the flights in an airport and graphics was used for simulating radar.

Intern - Disk Programming using Raspberry Pi

Tejas Networks, India

Undertook a project titled Disk Programming Using Raspberry Pi under the guidance of the Director of R&D.
Leveraged PERL for actuating Raspberry PI and developed a front end interface, using HTML & CSS, to showcase the working model.
Awarded with certificate of merit from Director R\&D for research and team work.

Throughout the years of coursework ,I have a proven track record of building innovative and community helpful projects. During internship at EXFO , I had the opportunity to work with people from different backgrounds and countries which helped me to exhibit my ability to be a best team player and mould myself according to the requirements of the project and team. I did exploratory data analysis and implemented various machine learning models on cellular data. Being a part of R&D department of Tejas Networks as an intern, I developed my skills in software development and machine learning which helped me to put them into use in a multi-national companies perspective. I had the great opportunity to get elected to various positions , representing the students, throughout my school years.Rewarding experiences such as these helped me to develop and present my leadership skills, and the abilities to convincingly negotiate, resolve conflicts, and empathize with people. I find myself to be people's person. Spending time and providing basic amenities to the people of Pallium India and the children of orphanages, helped me to understand the deeper meaning of life and what the world is expecting from the younger generations.
